Friendly staff, good value for money

There was a bit of noise due to the exposed ceiling. I could hear the water run every time the upstairs guest used the bathroom, and if they dropped something on the floor it sounded like it was in my room.

Understaffed.

Comfortable room. Modern, if not somewhat minimalist room design.

I'd told them ahead of time that I'd be arriving at 11:00, but there was nobody there when I arrived, and I hadn't been sent any instructions on getting in or accessing my room. After calling, I got my door codes and was in okay, but was informed that I'd have to pay when I checked out. No problem, I thought. When I went to check out at 8:30, again, nobody there. When I called, I was asked to wait until 11:00 to check out. I said I'd come back before noon, because I was just planning on walking around the neighborhood that morning. When I came back as promised, they told me that they'd already run my card, so I hadn't needed to come back at all. If you're coming and going at more normal hours, it should be fine, but if not, think twice.

Superb

The hotel is very clean. It is very convenient to check in at late times: the staff will text/call you to provide doors codes. They can speak good English and are very friendly. Rooms are well equipped (sofa/chair, mini bar, hairdryer, towels, toothbrush...), although there is no bed frame, but it is still comfortable.

Weekend in Kaohsiung

The value is excellent. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Everything works and a touch of modern design! Would definitely stay again.

Depending on where you are going, but there is a bit of a walk to some of the areas where there are lots of food options. I needed to be close to the harbour, so it was only a 10-15 min walk and was perfect for me.

The property felt neglected by management.

The location was great but on an extremely busy road.

The staff was unresponsive throughout our stay & pests were spotted considering the mattresses were directly on the floor.

easy to find, staff friendly and helpful.

My check in was at 3:30 I arrived at 4oclock to a Room that wasn’t ready with a wait of 45min for my room to be prepared sitting in a stairwell of the hostel/hotel. I was also not notified to arrive later due to the room being prepared late or not being ready on time… service is a little slow as the hostel/hotel wasn’t open on arrival either (had to call for the front door to be opened)

Well designed, central (but noisy) location to explore Kaosiung

The rooms are well designed and have some nice/colourful details. Location is close to all the main attractions around the art district and well connected to the public transport network. Our kids had a lot of fun playing with the slide & toys in the reception area.

The rooms are really quite noisy, you can hear pretty much everything going on in the corridor or traffic outside. We spent three nights at the hotel and there was no cleaning/refreshing of the room during our stay. The airconditioning unit in our room was a bit older so also made a lot of noise.

Bad stay

There was no convenient store nearby. The aircond was really loud that we couldn't sleep the whole night. Lights were really dim as well. Dust were really thick and can be seen flying everywhere. There were no one at reception when we checked in as well. The water dispenser hot water was also not refilled frequently. The heater also doesn't work well. Can hear water dripping sound the whole night. Security wise was also on the down side as the pin of your room can be guessed easily. The rooms were really small compared to the pictures online. The location is also really far from mrt Station which doesn't suit the description online as we had to drag our baggage for about 10 minutes on the road. There are also no eateries or shops nearby which made the street really empty and dark at night.
